New Reedless accordion-  Canarino Reedless model.

This is probably the lightest weight reedless accordion available at around 5Kgs.

34 treble keys, 60 bass with on board sound card.  5 tabs to select accordion sounds like on a conventional accordion.

Small button to left hand allows each treble key to become a momentary switch to set 34 orchestral sounds.

This model is suitable for those who cannot handle a conventional accordion because of its weight but can still enjoy accordion playing.

Bellows pressure sensor can be turned off if you want to play without moving the bellows.

The kit is complete with a brand new speaker amplifier, full instructions, straps and case.

Canarino Reedless MIDI accordion Instructions

To set up your accordion simply connect the accordion to your amplifier using the supplied jack plug cable plug, and then the supplied wall adaptor (9-12V Positive centre) into the socket on the bass panel of your accordion.  The accordion will play a quick scale to show you it is powered on.  If you want to use an external expander connect to your MIDI equipment using a standard 5 pin MIDI cable.

Installed in the accordion is key switching.  This allows you to change settings easily.

To change a setting, press the program button next to the air button with the left hand and then let go of it.  Then press one of the treble keys which is for the change you would like.

The last 5 keys of the treble keyboard do controller specific changes within the accordion, and first 29 keys send out instrument changes.

So for example to turn on Bellows sensitivity, press the program change button once, and then press the top E treble key once (button 34).

The bellows sensitivity has three modes which are selected by pressing the key for a second or third time, they are: Full on (the accordion will sound even if you don’t use the bellows), Soft (the bellows require more movement to get a high volume, but is good for expressive playing), Hard (the bellows require little movement to allow the accordion to play).

Below is the table of Programs along with their activation keys:

The highest five keys are the action keys which turn on and off the different parts and settings.

Key 30: this turns on and off the second chord instrument which can be played along with the accordion sound.  Once you have activated it you can select which sound is played by the 7 corresponding chord instrument keys.  To turn this second instrument off you simply press this key again.

Key 31: this turns on and off the second bass instrument which can be played along with the accordion sound.  Once you have activated it you can select which sound is played by the 7 corresponding bass instrument keys.  To turn this second instrument off you simply press this key again.

Key 32: this turns on and off the second treble instrument which can be played along with the accordion sound.  Once you have activated it you can select which sound is played by the 15 corresponding treble instrument keys.  To turn this second instrument off you simply press this key again.

Key 33: this turns on and off the accordion section and couplers, this section can be played along with any of the secondary instruments or by itself.  To turn this second instrument off you simply press this key again.  The accordion is also affected by the 5 couplers, which behave as they would on an accordion with reeds, with a low reed and two middle reeds to produce a light tremolo.
